Base Drum Heater High Temperature

The high temperature drum heater warms materials in standard 200-litre steel drums up to 300°C from below. As the high temperature variant of the base drum heater, it is the right choice when standard drum heaters with their temperature range up to 120°C are not sufficient: for bitumen, highly viscous polymers, technical waxes and other materials that only become processable at elevated temperatures. Designed and manufactured by the original manufacturer for continuous industrial use.

High Temperature Applications

The high temperature drum heater is used wherever standard drum heater solutions reach their limits and materials must be processed well above 120°C:

• Bitumen processing: preheating to process temperature before pumping or mixing
• Technical waxes: melting high-melting-point industrial waxes
• Highly viscous polymers: softening and preparation for the process step
• Resins and adhesives: preheating for viscosity reduction at high temperatures
• Chemical industry: process tempering of specialty raw materials in 200L drums

High Temperature or Standard?

This high temperature drum heater is rated for processes requiring temperatures above 120°C, up to a maximum of 300°C. For applications up to 120°C, the standard base drum heater is generally the more economical choice.
