The JP-332 AIR1 SS is an air-driven stainless steel lab pump set for flammable media, solvents and organic liquids — in environments where electrical ignition risk must be eliminated without the cost and complexity of full ATEX equipment. The compressed air motor drives a 316Ti stainless steel tube, and the set is completed with a universal chemical and solvent hose and a brass nickel-plated nozzle with PTFE seal, giving complete fluid path compatibility with the broad solvent and chemical media range the SS tube handles.

Purpose — Flammable media without electrical ignition risk

The JP-332 AIR1 SS solves a specific transfer problem: solvents, alcohols, flammable organics and aggressive chemicals that are too hazardous for standard electrical drum pumps, but where the site does not require or cannot justify full ATEX-certified equipment. Because the motor runs on compressed air with no electrical parts in the wet zone, it eliminates the spark ignition risk inherent in electric motors. The 316Ti tube and universal chemical hose cover the same broad solvent and chemical range as the JP-132 SS Chem, adding air-driven safety for flammable applications.

How it works in practice

Compressed air (4–6 bar) drives the JP-AIR1 motor, which turns the 316Ti stainless steel shaft and axial impeller at the base of the pump tube. The 1000 mm tube is suited to drums; the 1200 mm version covers full IBC depth. The motor attaches via connection thread G 1¼". The ¾" (DN 19) outlet connects to the 2 m universal chemical and solvent hose included. The brass nickel-plated nozzle with PTFE seal handles aggressive and solvent-based media. No electrical supply required — the pump runs entirely on compressed air.

Key features

  • Air-driven JP-AIR1 motor — no electrical parts in the fluid zone, eliminates spark ignition risk
  • Stainless steel 316Ti pump tube Ø 32 mm — for solvents, flammable media and diluted acids/alkalis
  • Universal chemical and solvent hose — broader solvent compatibility than PVC
  • Brass nickel-plated nozzle with PTFE seal — handles aggressive and solvent-based media
  • Available in 1000 and 1200 mm — 1200 mm for full IBC depth
  • Connection thread G 1¼" — compatible with standard drum and IBC openings
  • Max. temperature 90°C — suitable for elevated-temperature process transfers
  • Without ATEX certification — for flammable media applications where ATEX is not required

Certification & Approvals

  • CE marked
  • Air-driven — no electrical ignition source in the fluid zone
  • Not ATEX certified — verify local requirements before use in classified zones
