Jessberger Lab Pump Set JP-132 PVDF for Aggressive Chemicals
- PVDF pump tube Ø 32 mm — for concentrated mineral acids, HF, chromic acid and sulfuric acid >90%
- Max. temperature 90°C — nearly double the PP version limit
- JP-140 motor 450 W, viscosity up to 400 mPas, flow up to 49 l/min
- Available in 700, 1000 and 1200 mm — 1200 mm for full IBC depth
- Includes multi-purpose chemical hose ¾" and PVDF nozzle
The JP-132 PVDF is built for the most chemically aggressive applications in the JP-132 range. Where the PP version handles standard acids and alkalis up to 50°C, the PVDF tube extends the media range to include concentrated mineral acids, chromic acid, hydrofluoric acid, concentrated sodium hypochlorite and sulfuric acid above 90% — at temperatures up to 90°C. The complete set includes a multi-purpose chemical hose and PVDF nozzle matched to the tube material.
Purpose — Highly aggressive media that PP cannot handle
PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) has a narrower application range than PP in terms of media types, but covers the concentrated aggressive end of the spectrum that PP cannot withstand. If your process involves concentrated mineral acids at elevated temperatures, aggressive oxidising agents or strongly concentrated bases above PP's thermal limit, the PVDF tube is the engineered choice. The Hastelloy drive shaft handles the shaft zone where the tube and motor interface — a critical point in aggressive acid applications.
How it works in practice
The JP-140 motor drives a Hastelloy shaft connected to an axial impeller at the base of the PVDF pump tube. Insert the tube into the container until the impeller is fully submerged. The motor attaches via connection thread G 1", and the ¾" (DN 19) outlet connects to the 2 m multi-purpose chemical hose included. The PVDF nozzle with ¾" FKM seal completes the chemical path. Available in 700, 1000 and 1200 mm lengths for containers from bottles to full-depth IBCs.
