When you need to transfer higher-viscosity media — or when flow rate and head pressure matter — the JP-132 is the high-output member of the JP-120 lab pump family. The larger Ø 32 mm PP tube paired with the 450 W JP-140 motor delivers up to 49 l/min at 10 m head, and handles viscosities up to 400 mPas — double the viscosity limit of the smaller JP-125 and JP-128 models. Available in 700, 1000 and 1200 mm lengths for containers from bottles to large IBCs.
Purpose — High flow and higher viscosity from narrow-neck containers
The JP-132 PP covers the applications where the JP-128 is at its limit. Media that flow slowly — thick alkalis, concentrated process chemicals, highly loaded detergents — need a pump that can move them at a practical rate without stalling. The 400 mPas viscosity rating and 450 W motor give the JP-132 a meaningful margin over lighter lab pumps. The 1200 mm tube length also makes it the right choice for tall IBC containers where shorter pumps cannot reach the base.
How it works in practice
The JP-140 motor drives a Hastelloy shaft connected to an axial impeller at the base of the pump tube. Insert the pump tube into the container until the impeller is fully submerged. The motor attaches via connection thread G 1", and the ¾" (DN 19) outlet connects to the 2 m PVC hose included. The PP nozzle with ¾" FKM seal allows one-handed dispensing. The Hastelloy (HC) drive shaft handles concentrated acids, alkalis and most aggressive chemicals up to 50°C.
Key features
- Ø 32 mm PP pump tube — largest bore in the PP lab pump range, up to 49 l/min
- JP-140 motor, 450 W — more power for higher viscosity and sustained high-flow operation
- 400 mPas viscosity rating — handles thick media that lighter lab pumps cannot move reliably
- Available in 700, 1000 and 1200 mm — 1200 mm for full-depth IBC emptying
- Hastelloy (HC) drive shaft — chemical resistance for concentrated acids and alkalis
- Low voltage release switch — prevents uncontrolled restart after power failure
- Thermal motor protection — extends motor life under sustained load
- 2 m PVC hose and PP nozzle included — no additional accessories required
