The JP-125 PP SC delivers the same chemical-resistant lab pump capability as the JP-125 PP — but adds a speed control dial on the motor, allowing the operator to continuously vary the flow rate from near-zero up to 20 l/min. Where a fixed-speed pump demands nozzle throttling for dosing control, the SC version lets you set the motor speed directly, freeing the nozzle hand and delivering a steadier, more consistent flow for filling and dosing tasks.

When speed control matters

Fixed-speed lab pumps work well for bulk transfers where flow rate is irrelevant. But when filling receptacles of varying volume, dosing into reaction vessels or dispensing viscous media that behaves differently at different flow velocities, speed control gives the operator a meaningful second axis of control. The dial adjusts continuously — there are no preset steps — so output can be matched precisely to what the task requires rather than managed downstream at the nozzle.

How it works in practice

The JP-120 motor with integrated speed control drives a Hastelloy shaft connected to an axial impeller at the base of the pump tube. The 700 mm tube length is sized for IBCs and tall narrow-neck drums. The motor attaches to the container neck via the connection thread G 1", and the Ø 25 mm tube fits containers with an inner opening from approximately 28 mm upward. The 2 m PVC hose connects to the ½" (DN 13) outlet. The PP nozzle allows one-handed dispensing with the trigger as a secondary on/off, while motor speed is set independently.
