When you need to transfer acids, alkalis or detergents from bottles, canisters or other narrow-neck containers in small, controlled quantities, a standard drum pump is oversized and impractical. The JP-125 lab pump set is built for exactly this — a compact, chemical-resistant system that installs directly into a container and delivers a steady, controlled flow.
Purpose — Controlled transfer without spills
Pouring aggressive chemicals from a narrow-neck container introduces real risk: splashing, imprecise dosing, and direct contact with the medium. Without a pump, even routine transfers in a laboratory or filling station become a safety concern. The JP-125 encloses the transfer path entirely — from container to discharge point — eliminating exposure and giving the operator full control over flow via the nozzle trigger.
How it works in practice
The JP-120 motor drives a Hastelloy shaft connected to an axial impeller at the base of the pump tube. The impeller must be fully submerged in the medium to operate — insert the pump tube into the container until the impeller tip is below the liquid surface. The motor attaches to the container neck via the connection thread G 1", and the Ø 25 mm tube fits containers with an inner opening from approximately 28 mm upward. The 2 m PVC hose connects to the ½" (DN 13) outlet, and the PP nozzle allows one-handed dispensing with flow control. The Hastelloy (HC) drive shaft ensures the pump can handle media that would corrode a standard stainless steel shaft — including concentrated acids and alkalis.
Key features
- Hastelloy (HC) drive shaft — handles highly aggressive media that stainless steel cannot withstand
- PP pump tube Ø 25 mm — chemical resistance up to 50°C for acids, alkalis and detergents
- Low voltage release switch — prevents uncontrolled restart after power failure, a critical safety feature in chemical environments
- Thermal motor protection — extends motor life under continuous or high-viscosity loads
- Internally ventilated motor — active cooling without external air intake, reducing contamination risk in aggressive atmospheres
- 2 m PVC hose and PP nozzle included — no additional accessories required to begin operation
