The JP-280 PP EPDM Drum pump set is a preassembled drum pump set for 200L drums (immersion length 1000 mm) or IBCs (immersion length 1200 mm). The drum and IBC pump is specifically designed for alkaline media such as caustic soda, potassium hydroxide, ammonia solutions, and lye-based cleaning agents.

This pre-assembled drum pump set is a complete plug-and-play kit where everything you need to get started is included in the package. Simply unpack, install and turn the power on and you are ready to use your new electrical drum pump.

The drum pump motor is characterized not only by its light weight (3,8 kg) but also by its elegant and ergonomic design and ease of use. The non-stationary and stationary usable drive is particularly suitable for intermittent operation. The internally ventilated motor provides optimal air cooling, and a low noise level and ensures high operational safety and long durability.

The motor housing made of polypropylene ensures high chemical resistance when aggressive vapors of alkalis and lyes are present.

The pump tube is made of polypropylene (PP) with EPDM seals. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) provides excellent resistance to alkaline media, ammonia, and cleaning agents with lye. Maximum temperature 50°C.

On the drum pump housing, an integrated low voltage release on/off switch is installed. This switch is intended to prevent an uncontrolled start of the drum pump motor after a power failure or voltage drop and thus guarantees maximum safety.

The Jessberger drum pumps operate on the principle of the axial-impeller pumps. The pump unit consists of a drive motor and pump. The motor drives the drive shaft via a coupling. At the end of the drive shaft, there is a propeller-like pump impeller (rotor). The rotor must be completely covered with the medium so that the pump can work. With the rotation, the medium is axially transferred to the outlet, i.e. parallel to the pump shaft.

Each of our drum pump sets consists of an electric drum pump motor, a pump tube suitable for the application, a two-meter media-proof dispensing hose, and a nozzle, which facilitates filling and transferring.
