The FlexDeck™ Board Bending Heater is a professional-grade heating blanket engineered for controlled deck board bending and heat forming of composite, PVC and selected timber decking materials. Designed and manufactured by HeatXperts, the FlexDeck™ system delivers uniform heat distribution across long board lengths, enabling smooth and consistent curved forming without material damage.
Unlike traditional multi-blanket systems, FlexDeck™ features a single insulated heating blanket that eliminates the need for additional insulation or multiple heaters. The optimized internal heating wire layout ensures even temperature distribution along the entire board length, reducing setup time while improving repeatability and energy efficiency.
The system includes a built-in PT100 temperature sensor and an external digital temperature controller, allowing accurate and repeatable temperature regulation from 0–150°C (32–302°F). This ensures controlled softening of composite and PVC decking boards while minimizing the risk of overheating or surface scorching.
Professional deck board bending with FlexDeck™
The FlexDeck™ Board Bending Heater is developed for professional deck builders, marine fabricators and construction specialists working with curved or custom-shaped decking installations. By applying monitored and evenly distributed heat, the board structure softens in a controlled manner, enabling precise bending for patios, terraces, marine toerails and architectural elements.
The heating blanket is designed to accommodate deck boards measuring up to 5400 mm in length. Smaller boards may also be heated, provided the full blanket length is filled to maintain even heat distribution and protect the heating surface.
Voltage options
The FlexDeck™ Board Bending Heater is available in two voltage configurations to suit international markets:
- 120 V (60 Hz): 1692 W – Suitable for North American and 60 Hz markets
- 230 V: 1932 W – Suitable for European and international 230 V systems
Both versions deliver optimized watt density for long board heating and are supplied with an external digital temperature controller for stable and controlled forming.
