ATEX Cable Reel CR17 – 5-Pole 16A is designed for safe three-phase power distribution in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1 and Zone 2 (gas atmospheres).
This configuration is specifically intended for 400V industrial equipment requiring phase, neutral and protective conductor in explosion-protected environments. The reel is equipped with 20 meters of EPR/PUR cable (5x2.5 mm²), one 5-pole 16A flange socket and one matching 5-pole 16A plug (6h position).
Three-phase power supply for hazardous areas
The 5-pole configuration makes the CR17 suitable for pumps, motors, mixers and other industrial machinery operating on three-phase supply. It enables safe temporary or mobile connection of Ex-rated equipment where compliance with ATEX and IECEx requirements is mandatory.
The winding body is manufactured from conductive EPDM, while the welded stainless steel enclosure forms the connection compartment in type of protection “Ex eb” (increased safety). Installed components comply with flameproof and increased safety requirements according to EN IEC 60079 standards.

Operational Requirements
To prevent inadmissible heating, the cable reel must always be operated with the cable fully unwound. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with EN IEC 60079-14 and applicable national regulations.
Residual current protection (RCD) must be implemented according to the installation system (TT, TN or IT).
